Jaisalmer Arrival and Sightseeing
Upon your arrival at Jaisalmer, our tour representative will escort you to the hotel for a quick check-in and freshen-up. Later, you will be taken on a sightseeing tour of the city by a tour guide. You will visit the iconic Sonar Fort, a fort built using yellow sandstone, which is famously called Sonar Kila due to the dominance of the yellow colour. The tour of famous haveli mansions, including the Patwa Haveli and Nathmal Haveli, is also a must-see. You can also take an optional boat ride at Gadisar Lake.
In the evening, you will be dropped off at the desert camping site where you are greeted traditionally and after a refreshing tea/snack break get ready to enjoy a camel ride in the dunes for an hour, watching the beautiful sunset. Later, a folk music and dance performance, followed by a Rajasthani cultural program, will be arranged during the gala dining. You will spend the night in luxurious Swiss tents under the stars.
Jaisalmer – Sand Dunes
After a delicious breakfast, visit the Tanot Mata Temple known for its miraculous role during the Indo-Pak war. Witness the 1000 km long border fencing from the watchtower at the International Border Post of India-Pakistan. Next, visit the Longewala Museum site where you can see the standstill tankers of the Pakistan Army and commemorate the triumph of India.
In the evening head back to the tent where enjoy a camel ride in the dunes and watch the beautiful sunset. A folk music and dance performance, followed by a Rajasthani cultural program, will be arranged during the gala dining. Spend the night in luxurious Swiss tents under the stars.
